Spill The Ink Poetry Lab vol.17 feat Shivram Gopinath (SG)
Spill the Ink is a monthly poetry lab dedicated for anyone who writes poetry or creative writing as part of SpeakCityAsia's initiatives.
[SPILL THE INK POETRY LAB VOL 17: USEFUL HONESTY IN POETRY]
If writing poetry is rebellion, performing it is freedom. In a time where truth is often bludgeoned to death by rhetoric, how do we present our observations in ways that are useful to our communities? Through a series of group exercises, we will explore the value of "unvarnishing" the poet, observing honesty with kindness, and performing poetry with the confidence that you are doing justice to your abilities.
Reading materials will be provided.
RM55 per person. Limited to 20 seats.
